iPad VGA Second Monitor Resolution tweaks

Basically I got the dock to VGA adapter. Tested it on my LCD and it works fine but when using it on my projector tv(This kind) with a resolution of 640x480 via VGA nothing shows up nor does sound work. My laptop works fine when connected. I am taking a good guess its the resolution the problem.

Can I adjust the resolution of my ipad's second monitor settings somehow to be lower?

VGA cannot be lower then 640x480. I believe the output is 1024×768. This resolution can be changed if the device is jailbroken and DisplayOut is installed.

Thanks dude got my ipad jailbroken and its working fine!! Now gonna see if my iphone can achieve this.
