We have 2 iPads in this house and both choke on streaming long videos. I have a very fast internet connection with an Apple Airport Extreme and an Express bridged in, which gives me full bars everywhere in the house. I have no problem streaming video on any other device in the house. The problem with the iPad streaming is worse using the YouTube app built in. Here's an example of a long video that plays about half way and then you can see that the buffer stops building up and slowly the video that's been buffered is played and the device stops playing. It's as though there's a limit to the cache file on the iPad and beyond a certain size it stops taking on more. Please try playing this file all the way through and let me know if you can http://www.democracynow.org/ .
