Hello, I have a question. I have a Toshiba Laptop, w/ Windows Vista and the only internet available to me is the Sprint USB Broadband, Sierra Wireless, and my question is... Is there a way to turn my laptop into a hotspot so that my iPad can use the Wi-Fi from my sprint USB?

I found an article online that shows how to turn a laptop using windows vista into a hotspot but when my laptop finds the signal it connects to it, but won't have the internet available to it. The only difference in the article and what im doing is that I have the Sprint Internet, not Ethernet. So any ideas? Is this even possible?
