I did the re cent update to ios8 on my iPad and since then I can't play videos or you tube. It works fine till I hit play on anything streaming at that point the wifi goes out and won't go back on till I do a hard reboot. Is there a setting I need to change? Many help will be appreciated I already did a network reset and that didn't work.

Some people have had luck changing the operation setting on their router from 5.0 ghz to 2.4 ghz. Each router is different so I can't say how to set yours specifically but this has helped some people.
