With all this talk of Apple planning on releasing a 4.7" and 5.5" iPhone next year, I was wondering what you guys would like to see from these phones. Personally, I'd very much welcome a 4.7" screen with the same form factor as the current 5S. As for the 5.5 inch, we're talking 'phablet' territory, and would like to see it marketed as such, differentiating itself from the iPhone. In order for them to do this, I think it'd be a good idea to use a 2048x1535 5.5" 4:3 display, making it compatible with all iPad Retina optimised apps. Not too sure how big this would make the phone, but aren't phablets designed to combine the functions of a smartphone and tablet?! Surely it'd be just another Ultra/Max/Note if it only offered a larger screen, or is that the true definition of a phablet?! As much as I loved my Note II, due to the lack of S Pen support and optimised apps, it was merely a beefier S III.

How the displays would compare.
