My iPad won't sync because "an earlier synchronisation session is already active" according to the iTunes error.

I already quit iTunes, restarted my Mac, rebooted my iPad, to no avail.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Won't sync

I am hardly an expert but this happened to me.

On the iTunes summary page for the iPad hit the Version RESTORE button. After the restore your first sync will take a long time as all videos, music, etc is wiped from the iPad. You will have to change back any personal settings you had as well.

There may be a better way but this should work.

You can delete your back up in iTunes and sync again but it often comes back

Did a Restore work for you?
