iPad2 autosleep feature stopped working?

So it was working fine until recently (it stopped working even before upgrading to iOS5). I use 3rd party case Maroo with autosleep function but iPad2 doesn't go to sleep when I close the case despite having proper option checked in settings. Something has to be wrong and unfortunately I don't have any other iPad case so that I would be able to eliminate the iPad itself.

Any ideas?

Try using a magnet like a fridge one. If it works then your case has a cheap magnet
