There is a thread with 165 pages of complaints of backlight bleeding on iPad2 so it seems it's definately an issue, my question is, is it really that bad? Reading thru the thread it makes it sound like it's extremely unlikely to get one that doesn't have it. Is this just the vocal minority complaining or are almost all iPad2's affected?

First rule of MacRumors. Dont take every post as if it truth. That thread, albeit with legit complaints, is probably loaded with fakers too. Just sayin' :)

not so ad for everyone, it actually depends on your luck, like what i posted in that thread, i usually get some bleeding with the units i tested, but not too bad on the other hand 6 out of 7 units i tested had a dead pixel white orb or dust. so depends on your luck=) but my friends all got good units i think im just unlucky
