Hey,

I hope someone can help, my Mum brought an ipad2 over from Hong Kong (Im from Australia) for me for Xmas, at the start the camera wasn't working, so I restored and updated it, it still didn't work and then realized the actual apple cover started peeling off, I didn't pick at it or anything, everything else works fine, its the 32GB WiFi model, what should I do, are apple good with people purchasing devices from overseas and repairing/replacing them, I prefer not to go to a random PC shop and have them look at it, Id rather go with Apple store, or at least apple certified ???

I tried the serial no. in the apple site, but it says its not valid

What should I do?????

I believe the warranty on an iPad is worldwide, so you should just go to an Apple store and ask for help. Even if it turns out I'm wrong and they can't help you, it doesn't hurt to ask first.

You should take some pics.. Sound like you might have a refurbished or reconditioned ipad possibly..
