I tried several tools for copying a dvd to itunes. pavtube blu ray, handbreak, etc. I finally got a dvd to copy using the pavtube app. However when I play it on the iPad it's only showing in portrait...so it takes like 1/3 of the screen. I can't rotate it, etc. How do I get movies to be able to rotate so I can watch it in landscape (iPad sideways) fullscreen?

TY

What app are you using to playback the video on the iPad? It's very unusual because every video app that I've seen is capable of launching in landscape mode...

The standard movie app that comes with the iPad.

So when you view a movie in the standard Video app on iPad, it only shows in portrait mode? And you can't rotate it to landscape?

I hope this isn't a dumb question, but you don't have the iPad rotation switch locked to portrait do you?
