iPad2 screen doesn't shut off

iPad will not darken screen when I close cover, battery drains to 0% over night. Is there a setting to correct this?? If so where in all these menus??

Problem Solved. I had to rotate the ipad 180 degrees, then close cover, then she went dark. Cover must be keyed to sensor within the iPad.
