I'm having a problem removing songs from my ipad2.

I swoosh to the left with my right finger and tap the red delete, but nothing goes away, it just bounces back.

And, there are about 11 songs on my iPad2 that I didn't ask for or pay for or want. I have NO idea where they came from. I am the only one who uses my ipad2 or is able to use my ipad.

This is maddening. I did not upgrade to 8.1.3. I also see the icloud when trying to delete, and then a red circle spins, but I'm not sending anything to the icloud unless get's there on it's own.

If you can help, I would be very grateful.

Never mind, I found out that Apple thought it would a nice gift to deposit the album on everyone's devices. I hope that next time, they do this, they will pick a more modest album pictures and a choice of yes, or no!

The 11 songs are the U2 album that everyone got for free. You can select to hide them in your settings. They will show up automatically and will download if your settings are set to background refresh.

Here's how to remove them permanantly
