iPad3 Settings - Usage - Storage not working

Anyone having a similar problem and or know of a fix?
I have and iPad3 64Gb AT&T running iOS 5.1.1 and when I select Settings - Usage, I get the spinning wheel under storage (no results) and the screen keeps jumping back to the home screen before showing any data. I have tried a power cycle but the problem still persists.

By "power cycle," do you mean a hard reset?

I checked mine (iPad 2 32GB/3G AT&T running 5.1.1) and had no issues.

Only other thing I can think of is to manually shut down every app, turn off the iPad, power up and try again. No idea if it will help, but may be worth a try.

Thank you for the response, I gave in and upgraded to IOS 6.0, which resolved the problem for me.
