Just a little heads up for those looking into "daily driving" beta 1 (which is not recommended anyway, but there you go): FaceTime is not working properly on iPads that have a Center Stage compatible camera (in my case an 11" M4 iPad Pro).

Symptom: once you switch to the back camera and back to the front camera, the front camera will be used in wide angle mode (instead of regular 1x mode). This cannot be fixed in any way, not even by a reboot, it's just stuck on wide angle.

Of course you can still use Stage Manager and that works, but the regular non-Stage Manager mode is broken.

So either nobody is using FaceTime on an iPad, or nobody is installing the beta, or nobody is having an M1 iPad Pro or newer 😂 or maybe I'm the only one with the bug? So weird.

Meanwhile Apple confirmed that they have more than 10 bug reports open in the feedback assistant, and asked for a new sysdiagnose. Unfortunately I already downgraded to iPadOS 18 as that was a show-stopper bug for me, so I'm hesitant to upgrade again to collect data. Tough decisions...
