For folks specifically with the M2 iPad Pro (12.9 or 11) - how is the latest beta of iPadOS 26 performing? Any major concerns or issues?

Thanks.

beta 2 runs well enough on a second gen iPP with a A12Z (my beta test device)- there are not surprisingly glitches or even not working apps (use the MR search function) but overall most things just work… as on any M-series device. Any particular apps you are interested in and where you would not tolerate any glitches - e.g., no visual feedback when typing on the onscreen keyboard in DuckDuckGo’s browser?

Thank you. What I am a little interested in is how certain chat apps behave while in windowed mode. For example something like MS Teams or Zoom. Does the windowed app remain “active”?

Even if I don’t interact with that app will the chat persist in that windowed state?

Not sure if I am explaining it correctly.

sorry, I use Teams only on work devices - Whatsapp so, does what you describe - if I leave the WA window open in the back, the last WA chat open before bringing another app window to the front to e.g., type in Archimedes is indeed updated (as well as you get the normal notifications). Can’t really say whether that is synchron with WA on my iPhone so, or whether there is some short delay.
Another thing to test is sending an active video chat in the background and see what happens - will do that one later.
WA and Teams are currently often updated it seems - so there is that… might work in Teams too 😃
Anyone else can contribute?

Thanks - that’s great to know about Whatsapp. Curious about the active video chat too.
