Agreed, this would prevent a lot of confusion as the systems (hopefully) grow further apart and more issues unique to each arise

Agreed - iOS forums are overwhelmingly iPhone-centric. Which is logical, considering that the iPhone is more widespread, but I’d love to see them separated.

In fact, iPadOS 16 has no “All The Little Things” thread because interest and engagement was lower than its iPhone counterpart.

We've created an iPadOS 16 forum and moved a number of threads into it. Feel free to report any others that should be in there and we'll get them moved.

There are definitely some overlapping topics that apply to both platforms, but I suspect things will sort themselves out over time. I expect that iOS 16 will continue to be the "default" forum for things like that, but that's fine.

Thank you MacRumors team!

Maybe back in iOS/iPadOS 13 when the differentiation began, there wasn’t much of a difference to justify a separate su forum, but I think with Stage Manager and on the years to come, iPadOS will continue to evolve, building its own path. I think, it better do, otherwise many people won’t be satisfied with just a bigger iOS device.

Totally agree. Can’t stand people using iPPro for iPad Pro instead of iPhone Pro :)
