My wife and I bought two iPads last month. We set them up with different iTune accounts and now realize to share apps we need the same account. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We tried synching her iPad to my iTunes and were able to move 4 apps over to that iPad. Problem is after synch the apps would not open or work. This is why I wonder if we went wrong by not having the same account.

You don't want a shared account, at least I don't think it'd be a good idea. The reason the apps didn't work is because they can only be used by one account, the one that is used on your iOS device. Try to enable home sharing, I am pretty sure apps can be shared that way.

I agree about not thinking it's a good idea to share accounts. Although I'm not sure why it would matter. Will try logging in to my account directly from her iPad and see if my apps can be downloaded and work.

We have had success. Took her iPad and logged out of her account. Then logged into mine and redownloaded the apps I had on my iPad that she wanted on hers.

Thanks for the help.
