You are going to find that we are well seasoned here at MacRumors.

If you have a product you are trying to promote...say so....and follow the appropriate forum rules.

The path you have chosen....the way you presented your product as something other than your product....will get you roasted each and every time as a spammer....because presented the way it was....was spam.

Honesty always wins...always!

terrible way to get publicity for your app.

The best way is to introduce yourself in the App section and identify that you are the creator of the app. A little honest transparency goes a long way.
