iPhone $100 Rebate - Can they tell an unlocked iPhone?

Hey guys,

I'm in the UK and I've successfully unlocked my iPhone, I was thinking about doing the $100 iPhone Rebate, however, I'm abit nervous because I gotta give them my Phone Number and Serial Number.

Would they be able to tell that I have unlocked my iPhone... and do they think they will BLOCK it using the Serial Number/Phone Number?
