iPhone 11: Bad GPS signal if on Qi charger?

When I put my iPhone on my car's Qi charger, the GPS signal becomes very weak. Is this a known issue with iPhones? That issue can't be reproduced with other Smartphones (Android)...

Does it get very warm / hot when on Qi charger?
The iPhone might limit certain function when the temperature is raising.

I drive with my phone attached to a magsafe charger and never have any issues with GPS.
