after the software update of 14.7.1 on the Iphone 11 has there been an issue with the battery that justified a Recalibration for the battery that Apple automatically set to happen?
I purchased an 11 on 8/8/21 of which eventually updated with the 14.7.1 update after that was performed the battery percentage began crazy percentages on the phone regardless if it was plugged in to charge or not on the charger. Phone was taken to the cell provider where the phone was purchased, upon the Rep calling Apple to set up a service with a certified Apple tech business, the Tech business Apple instructed I go to that same day (8/25/21) was denied a warranty replacement for the battery. The tech checked the phones indicated percentage of charge remaining of which was 1% at 6:15pm, at 9:30pm that evening the phone shut itself off (died). Upon retiring for the evening, phone was plugged in to charge through the night. Upon waking 6:45am 8/26/21 the phone was at 78% charged, which brings me to current moment as I am typing (12:10pm) and the phone state 61% charge. The tech at the Certified Business for tech support for Apple stated that the battery could be in re-calibration mode and it could possibly be 2 more weeks for the battery to finish re-calibration.
Can you please confirm for me that the re-calibration is happening on this phone that is only 3-1/2 weeks old and that is why Apple denied the certified apple tech business from providing a new battery under warranty? FYI - my iphone6 was better than this 11 at this point in my new purchase.
