I have two phones at the moment. I just noticed that iPhone 11 has a different Face ID unlock animation than 11 Pro. The one for 11 has a blue circle while that for 11 Pro seems faster. Anybody else notice this?

Someone on another thread told me that the hardware might be different, but I didn’t think this was the case.

I don't know for sure, but I think they're the same. I'm sure it'd be all over the net if there was different hardware used.

I believe they are the same technology. iOS 13 made it a faster process recently. Any video that highlights that different UI? I’m curious now.

I reset and restored my iPhone 11 and it is now exactly the same as the 11 Pro. Not sure why the two animations for Face ID verification were so different initially.
