Recenly traded in my X for an 11 and I've noticed something peculiar in the way of ergonomics. The 11 seems "grippier" and signifigantly easier to hold on to without a case compared to my old X. Maybe it's perception or just my imagination because I think the glass back is the same (?). I couldn't even hold on to my X without it feeling like it was gonna fly right out of my hands - it was like trying to hold on to a wet ice cube. The 11 doesn't feel that way for some reason!

I'm not going caseless, but it's nice to know that I can hang on to my 11 with bare hands and feel like I've got a grip on it. Maybe the glass is different, lending iself to a different (better) feel to the device ... ?

This could all very well be my imagination and there's absolutely zero difference between the two 🤷‍♂️

I feel the same: my 11 Pro Max sides seem much grippier than my XS Max were. I've been thinking about it and since I changed from a white XS Max with the stainless steel band around it to the space grey 11 Pro Max I think that may be the reason.
