I’m not sure if my new iPhone 11 is fast charging or not. I know you could tell if it was in fast charging mode by the phone making a ding noise twice when you plug it in but it’s not doing that. And it does seem to be charging slower then my previous iPhone. I’ve restarted and hard reset it but still seems to be not be preforming as well charging like my last phone. I’m right now trying a full reinstall of the os and seeing if that does anything. Has anyone else had this problem with the new 11s? Am I doomed to having to take it in to be looked at?

the problem seemed to have fixed itself after I did a clean reinstall. I was using the same 30w usb c wall charger and cable i used before on my previous iPhone. It seemed, to me at least, to be taking longer just to charge to 80%. But I just did a charge from 15% to 80% and sucker went fast. Although it didn’t do the double ding chime, but I don’t know if that was ever an actual thing to guarantee it was fast charging. But yea seems to be fixed now. Thanks all who responded
It was there in the iPhone X era i.e. late 2017.
Seems not anymore after iOS 12.
I’ve never heard it either. No matter what is plugged into my SX Max and then 11 pro max just a single beep
