so im on a 64gig iphone 11 regular model not pro ios 18.7.1 i have the option to upgrade to ios 26 but im not sure if its worth it i mainly use my iphone for facebook facebook messenger snapchat some apps for fast food and the occasional google browsing or youtubes videos

I can't say it's NOT worth it. I've been on the developer betas for some time now, currently on the dev 26.1 beta. Aside from an initial impact on battery in the first day or so when I installed it, things have been fine. Haven't noticed any slow downs or problems.

That said, my iPhone is primarily use for calls, texts, email and some light web browsing.

iPhone 11 Pro Max.

I don't see why you need to upgrade if you don't want to, especially right now. I have a 6th gen iPad on iOS 17 that has no issues with apps. So, if you're on iOS 18 you're good for a while still.

I upgraded an iPhone SE2 to iOS 26 (A13 same as iPhone 11). There's some noticeable slowdown and stutters but it's usable.

The SE2 is just a guinea pig so it doesn't matter but if it had been my main device, I'd just stick to iOS 18. App support wouldn't be an issue for a while yet. You can always upgrade later if needed but downgrading is not an option.

Agreed, you have compatibility for a while. All you’ll get is a battery life reduction and potential performance issues for no gain.

In fact, since iOS 26 is likely the final update for the 11, I’d stay on iOS 18 forever and just upgrade when it struggles with compatibility.

No way I'd upgrade an 11 to iOS 26 - I'm regretting upgrading my iPhone 13 since 26 is killing the battery.

My iPhone 13 was fantastic on iOS 26. I did replace the battery via the Apple Store 2 month prior however I was getting above 7 hours of SoT each day.

I was always using my Apple MagSafe battery pack when my BH was below 90% but never had to use it after the battery service.

With the exception of the first day or so on the developer beta of iOS 26, your experience on your iPhone 13 is not my experience on my 11 Pro Max.
