Recently upgraded from the 8 to the 11.
Previously on the 8 I used a magnet between the case and the phone for use while driving on the dash beanbag mount & worked perfectly.
I’ve heard 2 conflicting viewpoints on the use of magnets and the 11:
YES THEY CAN BE USED WITH NO PROBLEMS or
NO THEY WILL DAMAGE THE ELEMENTS INSIDE THE PHONE
I need something to use while I’m driving & really liked the magnet mount.
I have noticed without using the hidden magnet in the case there is some magnet connection on the car mount but it’s very weak.
Thought of vent clips but afraid they will break the car vents or will use their strength to hold over time, causing phone to fall.
Any suggestions...?
