There are rumors of larger batteries next year. This may be done to either lengthen battery life further (yey!) or because Apple cannot increase performance per watt.

So are you happy with the current battery life of your 11 Pro Max (3,969 mAh) or 11 Pro (3,110 mAh) or would you want something longer than what you are getting now?

iPad Mini battery (5124 mAh) in an iPhone 12 Max Pro would be awesome!

Battery life on my launch day 11 Pro is still fantastic. Most days, I have around 70% or better at the end of the day. Would have been around 40% on my iPhone X.

Very heavy user, Internet use, play video games, stream video content of all sorts daily.

I charge my phone on a slow charge at night. I get up around 6 AM I go to bed at 11 PM and still have over 20%-30% of my battery power left, easily. Best battery life I’ve ever had.

I’m skeptical the next iPhone 12 ProMax with 5G & 120 Hz display will be able to last as well as the 11 ProMax all day with one charge. That’s how good Apple got this battery. IMO.

Um, Apple will only increase battery size for the 12 because of three reasons:

1) 5G modems use a lot of power
2) 120 Hz displays use a lot of power
3) because 5G mmWave antennas make the phone thicker so they have extra room.

Not to give you more battery life.

Yep, the battery life on this phone is such that I don’t have to worry about charging every day, even if I’m out taking photos all day at the LA Natural History Museum. At this point, I use my iPad more than my iPhone so I’m kinda done wishing my iPhone had a bigger battery. Battery is not really something I worry bout these days. More is always better.

Yes, I'm satisfied with my battery till now. Basically, Its all about how you optimize your phone and make use of the battery for maximum usage.

They will have no choice but to make the 12 Pro Max larger in every way, to fit in at least a 4500mAh battery.

This race to 5G has been ridiculous, and it seems like it’s still not fully ready for prime time, yet, here we are.

Then again the A14 should be a 5nm chip that is a lot more efficient, so maybe Apple will find a nice balance, they have squeezed all thru could from 7nm at this point.

11 Pro Max, 2 charges per week,
moderate usage: email (apple and corporate MS accounts), calendar, telegram, music (over bluetooth), and sometimes gaming like Temple Run 2,
this is the best phone I owned in my life!

I personally wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see 5G happening this year. The coverage is so bad, even worse than back when we didn't get LTE when all the Android competitor phones had it.
About ProMotion: Don't forget that iPads (and likely iPhones) won't display 120 Hz all the time. ProMotion enables the screen to go down to 24 Hz as well if the content allows it or is static. The current iPad Pros do not suffer from worse battery life because of ProMotion, so why should the next iPhones?

During Black Friday, I bought a new 20,000 mah power bank for a trip because I still had a 6s plus.
A month later (after purchasing power bank) I upgraded to pro max and now I don’t even know where that power bank is.

Had a Pro, now a Pro Max, the Pro was on par with my XS Max, which was great charged it/them every other day. Now my Pro Max is amazing, I've had times when I get to day 3 before I need to charge it.

This is the first iPhone I’ve ever had that I would consider excellent battery life, when paired with the Smart Battery Case I never even think of my battery power.

I love my Pro Max battery life. When needed, I can get 3 days out of it.

Obviously, best battery life ever in an iPhone ever with the combination of the A13/largest battery in an iPhone ever.

I have the pro max and I’ve been very pleased with battery life. It gets me through a whole day with Very heavy usage with ease. With moderate usage I can get 2 days.

iPhone battery life since the 6 plus (not counting the X) has been so good I’ve gotten lazy in terms of power banks. Prior to getting the 6 plus I used Samsung phones for 2.5 years. I always had to carry around extra batteries with me as you could switch out batteries. I needed to switch out the battery everyday and some days more than once. I had the 6 plus, 6S plus and 7 plus and they all had excellent battery life. I had no need for a power bank. The x wasn’t as good, maybe because I was coming from larger phones but I didn’t resort to battery packs. I got the note 10+ which I had for 8 days. I ordered a power bank straight away and used it a few times in the 8 days. I got the 11 pro max on the 1st of October. I’ve only used the power bank once which was when I went for training for work and the area I went to had terrible signal causing the battery to drain.

Upgraded from a XS Max mainly because of camera, but battery life has been what impresses me the most about this phone.

More is always better in this case but I'm 100% satisfied with the battery on my Pro. I'm a pretty light user (read the news in the morning, texts/emails throughout the day, stream Pandora at the gym) and typically end the day around 70%.
