Can anyone recommend a good tempered glass lens protector for the pro? Can’t seem to find any suitable ones on line so far and I always use them for that extra level of protection.

Thanks

wouldn't that degrade pic quality? or some glare? I know slr lens you can place filters or clear glass

Have a look at the Nilkin CamShield case... seems interesting:

Insta buy! (For my 11 pro max) Have been looking for something like this. Thanks!

Yep... ordered one too. Let’s see how thr quality will be.
Had Nilkin cases in the past and they were awsome.

In the pictures tho their cameras are flat. In the actual phone the lenses are rised. (Samples that case-makers got before the launch showed flat camera bump).

Let's see how close it comes to the lenses. (If the tolerances are too small, might get some dirt under the cover and then there's problems)

It looks flat because the case on the back is at thick as the camera bump... i think so:).
We’ll see once I get it. Ordered mine from Aliexpress... 8$.

That's actually a nice idea. I'm not keen on the look of it, but I wish more cases had that feature.

Lovely colors - coal and sludge green. Amazing that so few accessory makers are on to this need - premium iPhone 11 Pro case with sliding cover to protect delicate lenses from dust, dirt, smudges and scratches. iPhone 11 Pro camera quality means nothing as soon as the lens is scratched. Which will be very soon indeed.

Most consumers would opt for a thicker case that protects the camera. A sliding cover like the Nillkin will attract those with privacy concerns.

Except the lens covers are sapphire crystal (and have been since the iPhone 5 IIRC), so they aren’t going to scratch very soon at all (if ever).

You’ll note that the “sapphire” lens cover still scratches at a mohs level 6, same as regular glass (tempered or not).

if You watch the follow up you’ll see why. Basically a laminate of highly impure sapphire, unlike some of the watches and at least one other phone that actually has a sapphire screen.
