iPhone 11 Pro iPhone 11 Pro Gamers: Is there less heat from device compared to older models?

As a gamer, ever since the 6 or 7, the phone would force set the brightness lower and lower when the phone got hot.

There is no way to force this off, so it can be annoying when trying to game. Makes it hard to see.


My XS Max is always getting hot too. Mostly when charging and gaming. Are your 11 Pro’s running cooler, especially for the gamers out there?

My pro max seems to run cooler so far. But if you have issues with heat while gaming/charging do what I have done in past. Set phone on a cool pack, bag of frozen peas works as well. Back of phone becomes giant heat sink, run full blast no screen dimming.

I play PUBG a lot. iPhone X and iPhone XS Max would get super hot and dim screen.
None of that with my 11 Pro Max!
