Trying to get used to the changes implemented on the iPhone 11 Pro max versus my older iPhone 6S Plus... (Strange, because both have iOS 13?!)

When I choose the camera button while my iPhoen is locked, then the camera app comes up. If I then choose "Photo", there is a small upward-facing arrow near the very top pf the screen. (It hard to even notice...)

If I tap it show it becomes a downward-facing arrow, then a small menu appears at the bottom of the screen...

- The first button is for Flash options. This I get.

- The next icon looks like a moon? When I choose that, I get this horizontal axis with hash marks and it says "Auto (5s)".

Q1.) What is this option, and how do I use it??

- Next I see a 4:3 icon. When I choose that I am presented with "Square", "4:3", and "16:9"...

Q2.) Which option would I want to choose?? I get "Square", but just to take "normal" photographs, which aspect ratio should I choose?

- Next is what appears to be a clock icon?

There I see "Timer off", "3s" and "10s".

Q3.) What is this for, and how would I use it?

- The last choose is for the color-balance, I believe.

Q4.) I never really used this on my iPhone 6S Plus, but would appreciate any insight on how to best use this feature...

- Oh, one last question...

When I am in "Photo", at the bottom of the frame, I see ".5", "1x", and "2"

Q5.) What does those stand for, and how do I use them?

Thanks for the help!
