Ive had a couple of cases where the phone complete froze. I could not turn the screeen off or open any apps. The first time it happened I did a force restart. The last 2 times I waited about a minute or 2 and it responded. My guess since it does respond after a min or so its a software issue rather then hardware. Im assuming some rogue app? Happened on 13.1 and 13.2. Thoughts. I really don't wan to do a wipe and restore as it takes me a good week to get everything back the way I want it and that's with backup.

I've noticed a particular case when the phone freezes. If you just plugged it in a few minutes ago and go to use it, sometimes it won't respond for almost a minute. Eventually it does. Both times I did this I checked and the phone had just backed itself up, so I suspect this has something to to do with iCloud backups.
Were your freezes shortly after plugging in while on WiFi? If so it could be the same issue I saw.

The first time I don’t remember where it was but last night it did it twice I was at a bar no WiFi.
