iPhone 11 Pro iPhone 11 pro Max front camera freezing?

Is anyone else having issues with the front camera on the 11 pro max stuttering when you zoom in or out? When I use apps like snap chat or instagram and zoom in or out, the camera sort of freezes/stutters. I’m not sure if this would be a hardware problem or the apps themselves.
