I’m getting a new iPhone for Christmas just doing lots of research about the new devices so I can choose the right one. Just had a few questions about the camera controls if anyone with the 11 pros could answer quick for me as I don’t understand and none of the reviews answer the questions I have, Thanks - 1. So you hold the shutter button now to record video (pretty cool), however I actually use burst mode SO much especially with my kids - is it easy to go into burst mode or is there a lag when sliding over? 2. Hitting the shutter button and holding, does it go directly into a video or does it take pictures first? 3.Can you just keep holding the shutter as long as needed to take say a 5 min video without sliding over to the right? 4. Do you just let go of the shutter and the min video is saved in camera roll?

Lastly the physical buttons (I love using them a lot for photos / videos)

5.how do the side buttons work? Can you still press the volume buttons to take pictures (or video in video mode)?
6.does holding down the side button start burst mode like older phones or does it trigger video now? If so Is that editable? Menu item for it?
Thanks guys 👍🏻

2) Yes you hold the shutter to record video, holding physical button records video too, both up and down

1) I think it’s a little more responsive. Meaning there is zero lag and the moment you begin sliding over it begins burst mode. i think you’ll be very balky with how it ‘feels’, and you can do it one handed.

3) you can either A) hold down the shutter to record and simply let go to stop recording (as long as you want). Or B) Hold down the shutter and slide to the right to ‘lock’ in video mode without continuing to hold.

4) Yes

5) Take pictures with volume buttons, but holding either button takes a video.

6) takes a video
