I exchanged my iPhone 11 Pro today at the Apple Store and noticed that all the photos have NO information on the top bar (location). I believe that is called geotagging. Does it take some time for a new phone to re-tag them? If I go into the “places” folder in photos they are all accurately placed on the map according to where they were taken but NO information on the top of each picture labeling them as to where they were taken. Just the date. Anyone else have this issue?

It depends on if location service for camera was turned on on your last phone.
