Went to the Apple Store in Knoxville, Tennessee and TMobile and Apple’s system was down. Our very nice associate, Melissa, was very kind and stayed on hold with TMobile for 40 minutes while TMobile did their usual awful customer service dance.

My old phone deactivated and the new one (in the box) activated, but they could not complete the sale due the system being down. So I was stuck in limbo and had to go to TMobile for a SIM card. It was a whole two hour ordeal.

Not to mention the Apple Store in Knoxville had to shut down for 2 hours earlier today due to a fire in the mall!

Will have to return tomorrow.
 
My family and I have been with T-Mobile for years. Interestingly enough, we haven’t had anything short of great customer service.
 
Had the same exact problem in Indianapolis. I was at the store for 5 hours. I ended up getting a free case of my choosing for the inconvenience. Not happy with T-Mobile but oh well.
