I didn’t think of this, just thought larger screen easier to read but the 12/12 Pro are using scaling similar to 11/11 pro max.

Anyone coming from 11 pro and noticed the same?

I thought zoomed in mode on 12 would be similar to 11 pro normal (it just has one mode), but so many apps look like “iPhone 6 blown up” and breaks.
Do they break on 11 pro max / 11 as well?

adjusting the text size only works in apps with support, otherwise that would have worked.

otherwise I don’t miss much from the 11 pro.

Hello Kruso,

finally some realizes this mistake. I think it is a huge mistake from Apple to upscale the UI from the iPhone 11 Pro to the bigger screen of the iPhone 12 / 12 Pro.
I came from a iPhone XR and immediately realized the far smaller UIs in the iOS Apps.
I attached some examples how show the huge difference.
We need to push this. I hope Apple will fix this issue. All new iPhone owners will be "robbed" of there bigger display.
This also effects 3 party Apps. But some Apps are already optimized for the iPhone 12 / 12 Pro. See Screenshots from the Apps.

For reference. The iPhone settings are exactly the same in terms of zoom, or displaying bigger text.

Greetings
Max
