I have a 12 mini at the moment and went to Best Buy again tonight to do some comparisons. Here are my findings with same settings enabled......
- 12 pro is indeed noticeably brighter at max brightness with store lighting
- 12 pro does feel more premium and has nicer feel in hand than regular models
- Text on all models is the same size except the mini (even the max)
- Could not do a good speaker test as its loud in store, but speakers seemed fuller and slightly louder on pro models with max being the best. As size of phone decreases the sound is not as good (as expected)
- Reachability to corner of screen for swiping is possible with 12 and 12 pro models (I have medium to large hands). Max is too wide, but with 2 hands this is obviously better
-I prefer the colors on the pro models and wish the regular 12 models had the matte back of the pro models
-I could see the max being a little heavy with one handed use, but the 12 pro is not too bad and regular 12 seems just right.
-Typing is noticeably easier on larger models
-Regular 12 and pro seemed more comfortable in hand than expected
