I think I like the 12 Blue better than the Pacific blue. But I’m honestly kind of wanting the access to the Apple RAW photography mode on the pro models. I originally was going to keep my 11 Pro and trade my SE in for a blue mini but the presentation threw that little surprise my way.

I think the high gloss and deeper shade of the blue on the regular 12 is a little bit prettier than the one on the Pro. But it is hard to tell unless you see them in person which look is really preferable. Bolder looks photograph a bit better tha more subtle ones.

They both look nice! I personally prefer the Pacific Blue, but agree it's often hard to tell in photos. For the life of me, I couldn't decide between the black and white SE 2020 when I was looking online, but when I finally saw them in person it was clear to me which I preferred (the black one, although I decided to hold off for the 12 Mini in the end).

Official photos for comparison - It looks like the 12 is a standard blue and the 12P is a dark greyish blue.

By colour alone I prefer the 12.

I noticed that too, the regular blue is more pronounced and i like it better than the Pro shade of blue.
