Hi people,

I was just wondering: if I use a third party charging brick and charge an iPhone 12 and a damage (battery related) occurs, will apple be absolutely fine to fulfil their warranty oder will we see fights about “third party brick blew iPhone, who has to pay”?

I remember when getting my last iPhone and having made contact with AppleCare about something related to charging, I was told to only use original Apple products because when it comes to battery they wouldn’t cover damage by non-Apple products.

Or is there nothing to worry about?

Many thanks,

Thats just legal speak. But as long as you don’t use some off the street brick your phone will most likely be fine.
