iPhone 12 iPhone 12 Dual Physical SIM

It appears that iPhone 12 dual physical sims are only available (Hong Kong, Macao & China) on iPhone 12, 12 Pro & 12 Pro Max. Mini is only an e-sim option in HK (same spec as all iPhones in US & Europe). Can anyone confirm this?

For reference in China/HK iPhone XS Max, XR, 11, 11 Pro & 11 Pro Max where all physical dual sim options. The recent SE was physical + e-sim in Hong Kong and single sim only in China (China doesn’t allow e-sim). Looks like the mini will be the same, presumably a size issue?

More likely a demand issue. No one is buying such a small device in China. Those who are buying mini will buy it as a tertiary iPhone for business use. The dual physical SIM reader is no thicker than a regular reader.
