If my iPhone 11 is on 14.2 beta when my iPhone 12 arrives, I won’t be able to do I iCloud restore on the new phone because the new phone will be 14.1, is that correct?

This has happened to me before. I think you just need to update your new iPhone 12 to iOS 14.2 beta and then you can do an iCloud restore. I plan on doing the same thing this Friday!
