Got mine at launch so it has been less than 11 months now. Is this normal for battery health to be so low already? Cycle count is 242. Apple will not replace under warranty unless it's less than 80%. I'm considering spending the $69 to get an out of warranty replacement.

Mine is at 86%. Yes, it's bad. Someone mentioned in another thread we must of a got a bad supplier because this is happening in a bunch of iPhone 12 models but not in others.

Bummer! My wife's is at 92% and we got ours at the same time.

My 12 Pro is at 88% and I hate to say it but I believe MacRumors is the culprit. This is the only website/app that when I open it, my phone immediately gets hot to the touch on the upper half of the phone and to the side of the camera. When this happens, the battery level drops at an absurd rate. For example, I just dropped 1%/minute on this site just now. When I close out this site, my iPhone cools back down and battery consumption levels off. I have iUp so plan on upgrading to the 13 Pro but when I do, I probably won’t be visiting this site anymore on it. I’m in too deep now.

I'm on this site a lot so, could be something to that.

My mini is still at 100% after ~10 months. Not a heavy user though.
