Good afternoon, folks! I'm looking for a bit of advice before I go the direct Apple Support route.

Ever since I got my 12 mini at launch, I've had this annoying thing happen. My wifi will suddenly stop connecting to any networks. I'll look at my phone and it shows LTE. I try to reconnect to my home wifi (both 2.4 and 5) and after a moment it states it can't connect to that network. Turning wifi on and off doesn't help. Rebooting the router doesn't help. Popping into airplane mode doesn't help. The ONLY thing that helps is rebooting the iPhone. After that happens, connections work just fine. It can still SEE all the connections around me, including my own, but refuses to connect.

I've reset the network settings on my iPhone a couple of times, to no avail. This will simply just happen, either a couple times in the same day or it'll go for a couple days before it happens. No way to predict when.

The only other thing I can try (though I'm loathe to) is to do a full backup and restore which is what I did when I switched from my 11 to my 12 mini.

I'd already have gone to my local Apple Store for service, maybe get it swapped for a replacement unit, but sadly the plague has closed mine temporarily.

Any thoughts/suggestions? I should mention that I have several other devices on this network, including a 2016 MBP, an iPad Pro, and two AppleTVs. Even my Apple Watch will still connect to wifi at the times when my phone decides connecting to them is suddenly beneath it!
