iPhone 12 Mini would not power on no matter what after it was updated to iOS 26. Help!

iPhone 12 Mini would not power on no matter what after it was updated to iOS 26.

After spending half an hour on the phone with two different Apple techs, they had me try so many different things. Nothing worked. They said there was nothing else they could do. They wanted to get it replaced because I still had AppleCare.

However, I was told that they currently do not have any iPhone 12 Mini refurbished to replace it with, so their only option was to provide me with the iPhone 13 or iPhone 14. (which are both MUCH bigger than iPhone 12 Mini)

Can anyone help me figure out if there's another way to solve this?

Just fyi: the iPhone 13 mini is the same size as the 12 mini.

If you can’t get your device working again, there are currently still new-in-box 12 mini and 13 mini available on eBay. Of course you’ll have to eat the cost, but you can still take the regular 13 or 14 from Apple and resell it to compensate.

Take the 14 and put it towards getting whatever phone you actually want.
