I am trying to decide between the two. Is it really worth the extra 💰 I want a great camera but they both seem to have great cameras. So confused 🤷‍♀️

I'm so glad Apple made some significant changes last year with their 11 line. These are continuing this year into the 12 line with relatively few differences between the base model and pro. Camera is one - the LiDAR sensor and telephoto (for real up close shots) are two features that a lot of people want. Screen brightness will be higher on the Pro. Max storage capacity is higher on the pro. Video recording 4k 30fps on the 12 and 60fps on the pro. Here for more.

Really I don't see a lot of reason for myself to spend the extra $300.

The only other difference is the Stainless Steel on the pro.

I priced out both phones with same specs (128 GB) and there was only $150 dollars difference, and only $6 month difference if you are paying with apple card. So maybe I will go with the pro after all.

This is a good point. I just looked on Verizon and my current iPhone 11 is 128gb so I am probably going to buy the the pro since the starter model has 128gb. By the time I upgrade the 12 to 128, I am almost spending the same.

True - but that $150 can get you some pretty sweet accessories.. to each their own! I just know I don't really need the extended features of the 12 Pro.
