I have a 12 pro max and I am getting texts but my phone doesn’t light up or make a sound. I get the notification on my watch though. Anyone know what to do to make my screen turn on and play the text message sound on my phone? I have checked settings and everything is on as it should be.

It is because you have your watch on. When you have are wearing an Apple Watch the phone will not give you notifications because you get them on your wrist. You will need to take off your watch and then your phone will start notifying you again.
That is exactly what it was. Could have sworn I still got notifications on my phone when wearing my watch though. Thanks!
