Prosser claims that some of the 6.7-inch PVT iPhone models are equipped with 120Hz displays and some are not, and the alleged settings screenshots do mention the existence of both.

Ross Young also said it isn‘t happening.

Questions:
1. Do you believe Prosser with his mixed track record?
2. How would you know if you got a good model?
3. Is it a dev model?

Fake, because:

1. In the PVT phase, the hardware design has already been locked in. PVT = Production Validation Test. During this stage, Apple is testing with Foxconn to ensure every unit that comes out has consistent quality. The goal is to look defects during manufacturing and correct them to enable ramp up. This is not the time to test different hardware, which belongs in the DVT phase.

2. I don't believe Apple would use UK spelling of "behaviour." Did Apple farm out R&D of their most important and secretive product line to a UK office? Is the tester setting his language to UK English? I don't think so, not when Apple tests near Cupertino.

3. I trust an analyst with over 20 years of experience with display supply chains instead of a screenshot. Apple buys DisplaySearch research.

I don’t get this 120hz hype tbh but that’s another story.
Imo a screenshot don’t really tell that much. Maybe 120hz is coming but well...
