I noticed on my iPhone 12 Pro compared to my regular iPhone 11 I can’t set the auto brightness as low on a dark room or it never gets high enough in normal lighting. Even after manually adjusting if for more than a week it still defaults to about 40% in bright indoor light. On my 11 it would go to around 60%.

Finally I reset auto brightness I’ve found that if I set it here (in the screenshot) in total darkness it finally gets bright enough everywhere else. I’d like it to be darker at night but it doesn’t bother me so I’ve settled for this solution. I’m just curious has anyone else experiencing this? Could it just be a difference between the LCD and OLED displays?
