The Wife and I recently upgraded to a pair of 12 Pro's. She has an older 9.6? iPad Pro and I have the latest 11". My phone could pair with either iPad but hers got incompatible device errors trying with either. I tried resetting network configuration and such but no improvement. Just tonight I noticed my phone was running iOS 14.1 while hers was on 14.2. Having forgotten about the pairing issue I upgraded mine to 14.2. I can no longer pair with my iPad as it has suddenly become an incompatible device. Per other posts it seems that Bluetooth is broken in 14.2.

If anyone is aware of a solution I'm all ears, else I'll wait for the next release. I'll stop short of a factory reset.
Anyway - sure glad I'm not running that buggy Windoze - which seems to be capable of pairing with all of the above FWIW.
