I got this iPhone 12 pro max last Friday. After using one week, I realize when I make calls, sometimes it cuts off. I cannot hear the other person’s voice at all. A few seconds later, their voices will come back. Does anyone encounter the same problem?

Does it happen all the time or only in certain conditions? Like when you are outside walking.....

I only make calls in my room and sit by my desk. Basically I don’t move when I make calls. Not every call will be cut off. It’s very random. When I call apple support, it cut off for five seconds twice, but when I call my friend, it doesn’t cut off. Not sure if it is carrier problem or phone problem

I had a similar issue calling my mom while walking on the street. Every time a car passes by it would but off. Does not make sense but that happened. Lol

what did Apple support say?

They don’t know the why the issue happen. They ask me to return or replace, but I don’t want to go through all the trouble if I can fix it
